Panasonic KX-TG6074B Cordless Telephone August 26, 2007 Woodbridge Mom (California) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I love these phones. First the ease of use. They are very easy to use and program. Just follow the on-screne instructions. I love the way you can program one phone and send the new number, or the entire phone book to the other phones. Second, it is so nice to have a phone in rooms where there might not be an outlet. Only the base unit needs a phone jack. Third, the sound quality is very clear. I wish the different ring tones would work for different callers similar to the cell phone unique call tones. This only works with the caller ID subscription.
Ok for what's out there; Panasonic could have done bettter November 1, 2007 HK (CO, USA) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
Pros Quality sound Intercom Speaker Phone Dialing on Base Unit Answering Machine Not having an attennae # of remotes that came with system (3) Cons No lighted buttons Clicking sound from the base unit when one of remote phones is in use Intercom "0" does not work - suppose to page all phones per the manual No way to record conversation like previous models did; Would be good if you could initiate recording a conversation from any remote (helps when you have to take a message for someone else that is not home) Past shapes of phones were better Not being able to access phone book by pressing down arrow on center control Would be great if they had a front door remote to add to the system that would have a door bell button with intercom accessible from any phone. Not being able to add more remotes. Would have liked to add 1 or 2 more. No digital display of # of messages. Recessed buttons would be better. Wife gets makeup all over buttons.
Panasonic does it again December 26, 2007 Iowa Jim (North Iowa) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
The Panasonic 6074 had the features I wanted with a brand name I trust. In particular, the talking caller ID allows us to keep about our activities without having to look at a display to read that it is yet another telemarketer. The intercom feature is a bit unusual in that I have to select a particular handset to call rather than simply ringing all handsets to locate a person. I suppose that would be more appropriate if a phone were in a particular bedroom, etc. Sound quality is good, and the speakerphone function is better than expected. I dare suggest Panasonic has caught up to AT&T sound quality, and in my opinion have always exceeded them in reliability.

Very happy with these phones. Can both be on one of the phones within 10' of each other and not have that lousy feedback we had with our old phones. The sharing of the address book is VERY easy and saves a lot of time. Very impressed.
