wall mount ?? October 28, 2007 Marlene Butler (Rye Brook, New York United States) 3 out of 11 found this review helpful
Didn't get chance to use unit, it was not truely wall mountable. If you mount on a wall it sticks out as if placed on a counter. I bought ATT E5814B, still not fully flush to wall but much better. MB
No lighted keypad is a deal breaker for me November 16, 2007 John (USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
To me, not having a lighted or backlit keypad is a deal breaker. This is so seriously irrating to me, it's hard to put into words. I thought I'd FINALLY found a 4 multi-handset system that had all the features I need, along with the expectation that it would deliver a good audio sound, until I realized this "basic" feature is missing on "apparently" all Panasonic cordless phones. I mean, a lighted keypad is standard on all wall phones & even the cheapest, crapiest cell phones. I can tell you from experience that it's no fun fumbling in the dark looking for a light to turn on, just to be able to use the phone. Been there, done that, no more. So the search continues...anything else I've researched all have their serious shortcomings & is going to be a compromise of some sort, especially if your first "must have" feature is good sound quality because the market is flooded with lousy audio quality phones.
Beltclip's ???? November 30, 2007 Gio (PA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful

Great product - clear sound; fairly easy to use December 14, 2007 J. Currier (Iowa, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Have used the phones for about a month. No functional problems at all. Have a wireless network right next to the phone and have experienced NO interference. There are times when the caller sounds like they are talking in a can, but since it is sporadic, I assume it is the caller's phone giving feedback, not the Panasonic. Each of the 4 phones can be set to a different ring tone. The answering machine can be accessed from any of the phones. The answering machine messages are clear as a bell. If messages are present, the phones can be set to have their status light blink in a different color, which is a nice feature. The phones can also be used as intercoms between the handsets. This is a nice feature, but you must remember what NUMBER the phone is you want to page. Phones cannot be named, only assigned a number. I've been very pleased with wireless reception. I have an old plaster-n-lath home and have no problem getting through two walls or up one flight of stairs. Have never had static or cutout. Not having a lighted keypad is a pain if using the phone in low light or no light situations. The light on the top of the phone is VERY bright for a bedroom - about as bright as a dim nightlight (very easy to find your way around the room - MUCH brighter than an LED clock). I, like another user, put a sock over the phone at night, which is somewhat a pain. I would highly recommend this phone. I've been very satisfied.
Solid Buy - Good Quality Product December 14, 2007 A. Zale (Plymouth, MI) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've churned through quite a few phones in the last couple of years. Less because of poor product choices - more due to wife dropping handsets in water (doing dishes, laundry, bath time, etc.). I keep coming back to Panasonic. No phone is a universal fit for all situations but Panasonic seems to do a lot of things right. Well built, good design and consistent performance. For those who complain about this product, or other phones in this class, need to realize that your environment will have more of an impact on how your unit performs than anything else. Microwaves, wireless routers, alarm systems and such all can wreak havoc on your signal. Defective products are a reality. Buy from a reputable company with a fair return policy.
