I've always had this swiss army knife on every camping/hiking trip I took for the past 8 years. It is a great tool to have around, very sturdy, and gets the job done.

I've had Swiss Army knives in the past that had super fingernail files on them. This one will not file anything.

I was able to avail of the Swiss Army Ranger Knife as a promo last december. However, when it arrived, the red cover of the knife was deformed such that the tweezer and the toothpick were trapped in the contortion. Ir was a disappointment!!!
Just the same all the other tools in the knife were working even if the case was badly mangled. I wondered if that was the reason it was offered at such a cheap price. But for $3.00 it was not bad....

If I have my pants on, this knife is in the pocket. I have just replaced the Ranger that I have carried since I was In Viet Nam, with a new one, thought I would treat myself. I couldn't do without it.

The Swiss army knife doesn't need my introduction. It is a world famous pocket tool of impeccable quality and I believe this model sells for about USD 45-50 in retail stores. I bought them to serve as gifts to my boys.
