I leave my Boston home for the winter and often worry if the heat should fail. With this alarm plugged into the telephone line, I sleep better knowing the alarm will call my cell phone if the temperature drops below 45 degrees. I can then call a neighbor to check my house before a freeze up could happen.

Great product and excellent delivery service. It has already saved me from a $10k or larger repair bill. Dialed me up when the furnace failed two weeks after I installed it.
Freeze Alarm - invaluable January 12, 2008 Steve D. Mobry (Wakefield NH, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item has twice saved me thousands of dollars in damages when the power goes out at my small business. My espresso machine, if allowed to freeze, would cost over $5000.00 to repair. When power goes out andtemperature drops, the freeze alarm calls my home, tells me there is a problem, and I go start the back-up heater manually.
Freeze Alarm August 21, 2005 Edward Stone A great little device that I will count on to monitor our other home this winter. I emailed a question about using the device to the service center and had a response within a few hours (not bad for online support).
