It works best in dry or wet sandy soil or already tilled wet soil. Only thing that is an "issue" are the nuts holding the "tines" in the bar. They tend to loosen up after 15 feet.

Plain and simple...this product is made to get rid of small weeds from an already cultivated garden...and mine does just that! The ground in my garden is loose so the weasel does just what it says...just be careful not to stab your garden hose...those tines are pretty sharp and turn garden hoses into sprinklers!
