Very handy. One does not have to bend to clip grassy borders, fence edges, etc. Light weight. Very easy to use.
Not for large clumps of grass November 13, 2006 C. Branch (Ashburn, Virginia USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great idea for those of us who have difficulty bending to trim areas around plants. The tool is helpful, light in weight, but does not handle large clumps of grass. A few blades here and there is what this product handles. If you do try to cut clumps the blades can get stuck.
Works Great May 20, 2007 John K. Mckinney (Near Atlanta Georgia) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is the 2nd pair I have owned. The first pair I wore out with years of yard work. Works great for what they were designed for.

Fiskars Long Handled Swivel Grass Shears #92107935 We had a pair of these when I was a kid, and having now hit the half century mark, I know why Mom and Dad were always using them. Quit bending over to clip around your walk or beds! Get off your knees! Works on tender bush branches too, for those smaller ornamentals that are below your knees. While Mom and Dad's had wheels on the backside (so my brother and I could 'roll and clip') this pair has a rotating head, allowing vertical cuts (useful for beds and bushes) or horizontal cuts (good for the sidewalk, especially if you have a brick walk with sod shooting out of the cracks) and even angled cuts. Being FISKARS, I'm not worried about durability or having them retain an edge. (And, even if they DO loose their edge, I'm sure my wife's Fiskars scissors sharpener will put them back in order.)
A bit difficult to position precisely. June 9, 2001 Gerry Wilson (Eugene, OR United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These shears do what I expected them to do, let me trim around trees and shrubs without bending over or getting down on my knees. They work best trimming around a tree trunk. They are difficult to position precisely for edging a walk or bed. The length of the shaft creates a pendulum effect.
