These shears work great. They are easy on the back and lightweight. As with any grass shear, it is more difficult to cut through a large tuft of grass or thick stems, however by taking several cuts, it does the job. We are very pleased with this product.

When I was a kid my parents had something like this; weedwackers weren't yet invented; and this beats the heck out of their's. Solid and sharp. I took it out of the box and went right to work. Woody vines; no problem, same with heavy burdock stalks. This baby rocks.
*Later* Took it down a hiking trail snipping back briars, vines and twigs and though I often squeezed the handle lever very hard and abused it badly, it held up fine. Definitely a well made product.

If you have problems bending over or kneeling down to cut or trim, this is FANTASTIC.

Fiskars Long Handled Swivel Grass Shears #92107935 They may trimming around the fence easier by you didn't had to bend over doing it
