I just recieved my skeletool after months of waiting (like many of you) and I believe that it was well worth the wait. It is evident that leatherman did indeed use the extra time to make sure that quality was up to par. The skeletool is wonderful. The design is stunning, the craftsmanship excellent, which is what has become expected from leatherman, and the knife seems very sharp and durable. Others have mentioned the knife being "stiff" and while it is a bit, I wouldn't be upset if it never loosened up, I don't believe that it is too bad and can still flip it open with one hand easily. The skeletool feels amazing in your hand, light but solid and sturdy. I can't even tell when its hooked to my belt its so light. Oh and also, the bottle opener works wonderfully! I most certainly recommend it to others, despite the long waiting list and increasing price.

After patiently waiting four months to receive my Skeletool from Amazon it finally came. The CX is smaller than I initially expected but it really is as big as it needs to be. It feels comfortable in the hand and looks amazing. There is very little flex when using the pliers, although it is possible to pinch your thumb between the handles if you are not careful. The knife can be opened with one hand and locks in place nicely. The bit driver feature also has a locking lever which is pressed to change bits. I've owned other multi-tools (i.e. gerber, swiss army) and never used all the features. The CX has the essentials leaving it light weight and well balanced. Just clip it to the inside of your pocket with the belt clip and you can't even tell it is there. I highly recommend it.

I bought this product in december and was waiting patiently for it to arrive. When I got it, the packaging was kinda damaged but it most likely happened in transit and the tool was fine so no problem! Its quite stiff in its movements but Im sure it'll loosen up as i use it. The knife is very sharp and the finish is awsome. The carbon fiber is a nice touch and it is EXTREMELY light. Its actually lighter than my cell phone. Great product and definitely worth the wait. For 80 bucks, you cant beat the craftsmanship and quality of the skeletool cx.

I love it! It has taken a while to get it but definitely worth it. Much better than carrying around a bigger bulkier multi tool reserved for heavier work. I have used it so far to remove a couple nails out of the wall and cut some plastic with the very sharp blade. It fits nicely in my front pocket and isnt to combursome. The fit and finish is excellent. Although it is a bit stiff at first, this will work itself out the more you use it. I will apply a couple of drops of lube to help it. Love the whole carbon fiber look. I hope this review helps out because I have been waiting for more reviews on the CX untill I finally got mine. You wont be disapointed. Too bad the price has significantly gone up on this great tool. Just dont forget its in your pocket because it is so light!

After waiting months for delays, I finally received the Skeletool CX. I must say that this tool has plenty of function and design. Here is what I have noticed:
- The knife is plenty sharp and locks nicely in to place
- The pliers work well, but i tend to pinch my hand almost every time I use them. This happens because of the design of the handle (reason I gave it 4 stars)
- I love the bottle opener, great feature.
-The screwdriver works good, but not perfect. Its a little awkward to use.
- The belt clip works good and holds snug
- The coating on this tool is very nice, as is the fit and finish.
All in all, this tool does a lot of things good, but nothing great. But that is what you would expect from a multi-tool. It is very convenient to use and I look forward to getting years of use out of it. I would recommend this to anyone in the market.
