Terrific for cutting herbs and flowers! June 30, 2004 J. R. Keller (Cary, NC) 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
I love these and use them all the time.
perfect for small or delicate tasks October 1, 2006 Reader (U. S. A.) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Some other reviewers have complained that this tool is not good enough for certain jobs, but from their descriptions, it just goes to show that you need to use the right tool for the right job. For cutting wire or pruning boughs, one would not use these snips (though I would heartily recommend the Fiskars lopper for the latter). I am constantly reaching for these snips, however, when deadheading, pruning tender plants, and taking cuttings for propagation. I want something sharp, precise, and handy for those tasks, and secateurs or pruning shears would either be too cumbersome or would not have the cutting action required. Well worth having, in this gardener's opinion.

Good grip, easy to use, has safety lock & blade cover. Very useful.
Rubber tip cover October 21, 2005 Tactic Kid (NLV, NV USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is not as good as a bigger pruning snipper. It feels small in your hand. I wish there was a place to put the tip cover when in use.

I received my pair of snips in a combination package, so I wasn't looking for them in particular. However, they have been irreplaceable in my herb garden...to cut leaves off the plant in the garden, then to take them with me to the kitchen to snip them for recipes!
