Quiet, strong, and effective tiller. September 20, 2008 Bryan Grady (San Jose, CA United States) I purchased this tiller after reading the reviews for 2-stroke gas, 4-stroke gas, and this electric. Although I love my gas mower, I did not want another gas appliance around the house. So I took a chance on this electric. I love it!!! It took less than an hour to put together (make sure that you have a pair of 7/16" wrenches/sockets). This little machine-that-could did!! It made very quick work of about 500sf of beds that were full of rock and construction debris and compacted soil. It is very quiet, in fact so quiet my wife didn't know that I was tilling right outside the kitchen window. The tiller is light (about 20lbs) and will bounce off of hard soil at first, but keep making short back and forth strokes and the tiller very nicely does its job. Well worth the money!!! Am very pleased! Plus, with Prime, it was delivered in 2 days!!
Mantis 120 volt Electric Tiller October 10, 2008 Vibin Koshy Good product. Powerful enough to do your small to medium garden work. Easy assembling and easy to use. Since its electric sometimes you get entangled in the wires but that is a small price to pay for the work this machine does.
Quick and Easy October 18, 2008 Tommy Baysinger (lexington, KY USA) This Mantis Electric tiller made quick work of my little postage stamp garden. Runs so very quietly with no glitches so far. Not even a circuit breaker problem with my extra heavy electric cable. One afternoon's work this fall and I'm ready for spring in October. Now if I can figure out the danged kick stand...
Great Powerful Tiller, the Best! October 25, 2008 Mary Weber (Portland, Oregon) This is a fantastic buy, a great tiller with a HUGE amount of power. I am a woman and I could easily put it together (minimal assembly required) and then use it easily to till hard, never previously tilled hard pack earth into crumbly loam. I highly recommend it.
Mantis tiller is worth the money October 31, 2008 M. Acosta (Kansas City, MO) This is a light weight, easy to operate tiller. It is a nice product that lives up to it's claims.
