The Mantis tiller is just what i was looking for for years. Its small enough to get between rows and its very light weight. I like mine and cant wait to use it this year.

The Mantis 120 volt Electric Tiller exceeded my expectations. It is tremendously powerful, has three speeds, and yet very controllable. It prepared a seed bed for me in 10 minutes without working up a sweat, that would have taken me over an hour with a shovel. Also the soil is broken up into a fine consistency that can not be done with a shovel. If you purchase one be sure to watch the DVD that comes with it first, as it explains the assembly in great detail. Another great thing about this Tiller/Cultivator is that it is so quiet it will not bother your neighbors. For me it is a 5 star product.

This tiller far exceeds my expectations. When it arrived I assembled it in about an hour, though if I had watched the DVD first it would have gone faster. As another reviewer has reported, the kick stand presents some difficulty but is not insurmountable. The tiller cuts through the hard Georgia clay in my back yard more easily than any "grown up" tillers I have used in the past. To get the greatest benefit of the powerful motor I use a 12 gauge cord, actually two 50 foot cords, connected, for the more distant locations and a single 50 foot cord for closer spaces. I rate it five stars.

This tiller exceeded my expectations. It has all the capabilities of a gas tiller I had previously, without the maintenance hassles. I have used it constantly this spring with no problems, and I love the instant starting. I will add the weed detanglers next year for sure. I would like to see them as part of the basic package as is the kickstand--a nice addition. I would recommend this to any gardener.
