This product is a great idea. while waiting for my new mower to arrive the grass became very tall. I was able to mow it with no problem. Love not having to mess with gas. and if I forget to charge it I can always use it with the cord.
The only bad thing is it is not as well made as it should be for the price. it could be made little studiers.

Wow, I should have believed the reviews. This mower is a piece of junk. I was so excited to get it delivered only to be disappointed when I finally got to use it. The quality is poor. It felt as if the wheels where gonna fall off. Not only that, the bagging system did absolutely nothing. Oh, and where is the quiet mower they advertize? Mine sounded loud and annoying. People, SAVE your money....DO NOT BUY THIS LAWN MOWER!!!!!!!!

I ordered this mower on 6/16/08 and recieved by friday. I took it out of the box and put it together and the left wheel was wobbling . I used this mower as a mulcher I have had bad luck with gas mowers and wanted give this one a try. After mowing the mow the the screw holding the battery was missing. It did a poor job in mowing the lawn. The concept is great but it is made cheap. So monday called to have it returned. They recieved the mower on july 9 th and I am still waiting for the refund

I was a little skeptical about the electric lawn mowers but with rising gas prices I decided to do a little research on the electric mowers currently out in the market. The Remington PowerMower caught my eye because of the 60 Volt battery pack. It's a lead-acid type battery and has a modular design so that the battery pack can be replaced very easily in the future if needed. The first battery pack will last atleast 5 years without any problems. It feels great to just unplug the cord and start mowing. Compared to a gas mower the Remington will "bog" down a little once you start mowing very thick and tall grass. It is easily overcome by walking a tad slower. Height adjustments are very easy and the overall unit seems very solid. My only complaint is the interface between the mower and the collector bag. It is not as secured as I would like but I haven't had any major problems with it so far. This is a great unit if your looking for a cordless battery operation and have an average sized yard. Bottom line it's easy to use,cordless, and no gas. Also note that some states will give you a tax-relief refund for switching to an electric mower ie CA.

the remington mower was disappointing. the battery didnt sit right in its place so it would not charge. could only mow with the cord. what a pain. amazon however made the return easy and painless. my money is already back in my account.Remington PowerMower 17-Inch 60-Volt Cordless/Corded Electric Combination Lawn Mower #MPS6017A
