Show me a better grill brush and I'll buy it! September 13, 2004 gonecatn (Sierra Vista, Arizona United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I read how people have weber brushes and think they should last more than a year... WOW...I wish mine lasted that long. I'll wear out 2 in a summer, but I use the heck out of them! I've tried those plastic ones that melt and the cheap knockoffs with half the bristles made of steel and worn them out in 2 cleanings. Brass: is hard enough to clean, but won't damage your grill... Wood: handle is long and doesn't melt or get hot to quick... Scraper: scrapes all my webers just fine. Pick up a generic brush in one hand and a Weber brush in the other hand and follow your heart. Your brush should be tough, but also wear out before your grill does. Look at it this way. If you used your weber brush to clean your dishes you wouldn't be going through so many sponges..think about it
A brilliant tool and a tip how to clean it June 2, 2005 Dennis Petersen (Taulov, Denmark) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This brush is brilliant. It doesn't ruin your grate like other steel brushes does (this one is not made of steel/iron). So it'll save you the frustration of buying a new grate because the other rusts. Heres a tip on how to clean it. Mix a bowl of warm water with wash machine soap or a tab. Leave the head of the brush in the water overnight and behold - almost as good as new. Over time the wood/handle near the head will lose its protection, but rather that than an ugly brush :-)
A versatile brush July 19, 2003 magellan (Santa Clara, CA) 4 out of 15 found this review helpful
You can't have too many grill brushes in your life. This one can tackle the worst grill build-up with ease. Also, if you're a professional animal trainer or zookeeper, it works great for brushing those elephant tusks and rhino horns. Just don't try to scratch the rhino's nuts with it. They're a little sensitive about that since this brush has brass metal bristles. I found that out the hard way. Try using a brush with nylon bristles for that instead. The scraper feature is also possibly useful for veterinarians for performing D & C's (if you don't know, don't ask) on large animals like livestock.
It's a grill brush September 24, 2004 Frank Garriel (Sicklerville, NJ) 4 out of 8 found this review helpful
The brush is best used when used on a grill. It does not work well as a toothbrush. It is also not recommended for hair, washing cars, or cleaning fingernails. The long handle helps keep your hand from burning. It does this by keeping the brush area far away from the hand area; because the brush area is the one that is put on the grill, your hand doesn't need to be close to the grill, where the heat is produced. Also, it's important to note that this Weber brand grill brush is fully compatible with all Weber grills, all non-Weber grills, and all items that call for being brushed with an array of metal bristles at the end of a handle.

The long handle makes it easy to clean while the grill is hot.
