Life SaverSeptember 20, 2004 J. Connelly I bought one of these before I left for my 6 week Arctic expedition. After 5 straight days of snow, I used the Avalanche roof rake to get the snow off of the roof of my Ice Cat. Without the Avalanche Roof Rake, the roof would have collapsed under the weight, and myself and the other scientists would have been crushed under the weight of the snow.
The only criticism I have is that even with the extension pole, I still needed to climb on top of the Ice Cat tread to reah the roof.
