Fantastic pack stoveAugust 16, 2008 Ann M. Barkley I've had my whisperlight going on 15 years now and it's never failed to light, never leaked, or thrown a fireball at me while camping. I toss it in my pack and head on out. I've been using a old Coleman stove for the last few years since having a family and doing mostly car camping. We got the chance to do some camping by ourselves this last weekend and wanted to go light so I brought it along and had no issues lighting it after it had been sitting in the garage for the last few years. We used it for cooking 2 meals a day and used less then 30% of a 22oz bottle of fuel. I've never liked the idea of canisters of gas when most of the camping we do is above 11k feet. Great product and I'll be handing it down in 30 years or so.
