I ordered this chair yesterday (10/30/07 between noon-1pm). To my surprise, UPS was at my door at 1:30pm TODAY. I did receive an email from Amazon last night around 8pm saying that it's already shipping but I didn't expect it to arrive so quickly! By the way, I used the super saver shipping so it was free! Funny thing is, I ordered some CDs and DVDs with this order too, but I'm sure those'll take longer to get here.
Haven't sat in it too much yet, but I did try it out. I've never used a chair like this before, so it took me a little bit to figure out how to fold it out, lock it, etc. It comes fully assembled so all you have to do is get it out of the box and unfold it into the position you want. It was shipped in a cardboard box which did not contain any padding (this didn't bother me too much, since the chair looks pretty sturdy). The chair was pretty comfortable when I tried it, though! It's nothing fancy, just mesh-like material and metal parts. If you're looking for something fancy then you're probably looking in the wrong place...but if you're looking for practical I'd say this is it. I like how it folds up and would be easy to transport. It might be kind of heavy for a smaller person, but I think for a person of average size it's totally manageable.

Friday evening I discovered that the chair was finally in stock & decided to buy it. I also signed up for their Amazon Prime Free Trial and payed 4 bucks to have it shipped next day ! ! ! And it got here on Saturday noon!!!
Compared to a similar one I bought several months ago from CVS for $15 bucks more, the frame is twice as thick & the material is definitely better. I especially like the removable pillow and the easy to use latches that keep you in position. They never worked on the other one.
I just love lying in it for hours. The only thing I wish it had is a pillow at the end to rest the feet on. The $2000 leather version has one and it definitely makes a difference.

After waiting months for this to arrive...then having to return the first one because it arrived looking as if had been through a storm...I finally got the replacement..I have to say I am NOT thrilled.
It is not well balanced until you sit in it (rocks like an uneven table from side to side). I thought at first I didn't have the legs opened properly - no such luck...once you sit in it I doesn't move I guess due to the weight..lets just say I wouldn't let a child or slight adult sit in it for fear it wouldn't be stable enough.
A friend of mine got an anti-gravity adjustable recliner (also folds to store like this one does) from CVS for the same price. She had it the same day and hers is sturdy with or without and occupant it doesn't rock from side to side...and in addition hers included a side bag to hold books, sunglasses..etc.
I wish I'd known CVS was going to offer an anti-gravity chair before I ordered this one.
Needless to say I feel a bit ripped off. I waited 4 months and two shipments to get a chair of lesser quality then I could have had if I had walked into a CVS and purchased theirs (ahhhh..if only!).
I'll tell you what...if CVS offers that same chair my friend got next year..I'll be replacing this one with it!

I bought this chair as a gift for my dad. He thought it would be great for camping and enjoying his back yard. The first weekend he took it camping. He said it was so great that he wouldn't take it anymore because he was too worried it would get hit by a spark from the fire or end up muddy. I think it's his favorite present yet.

This is a very nice recliner for the price. It is light weight and easy to adjust. The delivery time was excellent.
