Durable and Reliable January 2, 2003 M. Feltz (Stevens Point, WI United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The 2 c-cell MagLight is durable and reliable. Being a pilot I use a flashlight for all night flights. For safety's sake I cannot afford to have a flashlight with a flimsy switch, cheap construction etc. Mag Instruments makes a great light period. The 2 c-cell model is a bit large for the average kitchen drawer or auto glove compartment. But it works great for aviation and should be equally suited for boating, camping etc.
Tough, handy size May 31, 2002 Charles R. Dewey (Phoenixville, PA USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The best 2 C-cell flashlight I've owned. Fits in the glovebox easily so your kids and wife won't "borrow" it.
Just the right size for everyday use November 29, 2002 V. R. Padgett (Whittier, California, United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I have several D-cell Mag Lights and one AA-cell Mag light, but the former were too large and the latter too small to grab and run check on this or that when the need arose. The C-cell light is just the right size. I was pleased to see a History channel Egyptologist carrying the same one, a few months after I bought mine.
Reliable emergency flashlight February 13, 2007 Marc Albert (WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I bought this flashlight, based on my experience with Mag-Lite, to use as a dependable emergency flashlight for my car. It fits the bill as a sturdy well built product. I also have one (2D-cell) in my other car too. This 3C-cell unit is actually only 1-inch longer than the equivalent 2D-cell Mag-Lite and is lighter too. It is 11" long, so check your glove compartment dimensions if you intend to store it there.
Excellent Flashlight November 3, 2006 K. Lorando (New Mexico, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This flashlight is well made, very sturdy, and very durable. It's a much better product than the cheap plastic flashlights you can get for $1 a piece that break two weeks after you buy them. I purchased this Mag when it was on sale, and now wish I had bought a few more.
