I have a five-year old Spirit 700 and this cover fit nicely. The mesh openings and velcro straps are great to keep the cover from blowing off. Yes, you can get a generic cover cheaper but the quality of materials and workmanship typicallly is under par. I just replaced the flavorizer bars and grates and this grill is ready for many more years of service. Once again, you can buy a cheaper grill but Weber grills are superior and their customer support over the phone is phenomenal. Check your warranty; most parts have a five-year warranty and they stand behind their product.

Well built, rubberized cover that holds well in place. I can't say that much on a grill blanket, sorry if you expected something more lyrical.

With the black cover on, the grill looks sinister and imposing, not at all in the spirit of my deck. I'd easily have paid an extra $10 to get the cover in a nice awning stripe or other cheerful pattern like a tropical or Hawaiian shirt print.

This cover, like the grill, is well made and will last for years. I like the venting to prevent moisture build up and the velcro straps on the sides will keep it on even in high winds. Protect your investment with this great cover.

I purchased the grill cover for our Weber Genesis 1000 grill and couldn't be more pleased with the high quality, perfect fit and reasonable cost. The service from Amazon was top rate - the product arrived in a timely fashion and in flawless condition. A great experience all the way around!!
