Doors ajar, holes didn't line up June 25, 2008 casual 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It works fine but shoddy workmanship was evident. One of the stainless steel in front droops a quarter inch from it's mate when closed - looks cheap. Also the back panel holes didn't line up and had to be enlarged with a Dremel grinder to install. The holes in the washers that go with sheet metal screw were too small and had to be tweaked to fit. There was a ripple (bent) in the side panel that was fairly minor but had to be coaxed to get holes to line up. The friction fit "hub" that hammers on the end of the axle to hold the wheel on goes on crooked if your lucky enough to get it on at all as the metal part shifts inside its plastic trim piece. Watch out you don't smash your finger or the piece goes bonging off . They give you an extra one but it's a poor system.
TTM June 30, 2008 Tom M (Mandeville, LA) I've had this grill for two months now and have no complaints. I was worried that the natural gas version would not get hot enough. On the contrary, I have to turn the temperature controls lower than the recommended settings. Cooks very evenly over the entire grill. Ready to cook in 5 minutes or less. The instructions were not very clear and it took over an hour to assemble. Once you fire it up though you won't be dissatisfied.
Weber Spirit E-310 July 5, 2008 B. J. Leftwich (Rockford, IL) Excellent product, high quality. Assembled in about one hour. Needed help with NG hookup but it went well. Very happy with product. Highly recommend Weber products.
Excellent Price/Value July 7, 2008 K. Kobayashi (Mission Viejo, CA) I know you are going to think "what value?" based on the price, but if cooking performance is a priority then this is an excellent choice. Heat is even throughout the cook surface and flare-up is minimal. You will find other brands with more features at a lower price, but, so far, I am a convert Weber fan.
Great Grill July 7, 2008 Julia Flier (California) This is a great grill! Have used it several times already and am very pleased. Put off buying because of the cost but it is worth every penny. I think I would have liked the next size up but so far it is large enough for our family. Easy to light. Since we are all thumbs when it comes to putting togather, we had our plumber put it together. That also was worth the cost. We chose the natural gas grill because that is what we previously had. Didn't want the hassle of the tanks. By the way, one piece was broken in transit. Called Weber. What a great company. Sent out the new part. No problem at all.
