Great for espresso March 14, 2006 Rodger Barkus (Tualatin, OR United States) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I really, really like these glasses for espresso. Here's some of my observations: * You can clearly see the depth of the crema. * The double wall keeps the espresso hot much longer than even a pre-warmed espresso cup. The shots simply taste better longer! * The feel of the glasses is great in your hand. No dinky handle to grab, just smooth, cool glass.
these are great March 8, 2006 L. Deering (GREELEY, CO USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
They are double-wall, which means 1) they are more sturdy, and 2) they do not get as hot when filled with fresh from the machine espresso. They work very well.
Fine glass for espresso or after-dinner drink January 9, 2007 Adrian C. Hernandez (Boston, MA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The glass stays cool, the drink hot. Has lovely lines as well. Feels nice in the hand.
Awesome glasses! January 15, 2007 K. Cunningham (Detroit, MI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought these glasses as a gift for my husband and he really likes them. The quality is really nice and you can use them without getting burnt! It's cool to see the layers of the espresso in the glass too. They are fragile, but they're small enough to where you don't worry a whole lot.
Good thing there is a set of 2 . . . . February 20, 2007 C. Torkelson 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
. . . . because I managed to fumble the box which slightly bumped the 1st glass. I watched it slide off the counter and land on the linoleum in a spray of small glass shards everywhere before the 2nd glass was even unwrapped. These glasses are very lightweight and fragile so be careful. Other than that, I love using the remaining glass. No more burned fingers and it is wide enough at the top to collect both shots of espresso.
