not intuitive May 29, 2007 J. Vitulli 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It does the job but is not intuitive. You'll never know exactly when the system will turn on since there is no clock to set. It is based on relative time, like `it will start x amount of hours from now'.
Second one that I bought September 7, 2005 Bill Treeman (Philly suburb) It does exactly what I need. I position two sprinklers, the first on a mechanical timer, the second on the Melnor electronic timer. I program the Melnor timer to delay start until after the first timer will shut off. The only thing to remember is that the number of start delay button pushes is the number of hours plus one. Recently, I started using the second cycle after a delay to allow the water from the first cycle to soak in.
Melnor 3020 Water Timer July 10, 2006 Donald I. Zimmerman (Fort Worth, TX USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It works as advertised and automatically allows my lawn to be watered daily at a time when I would not be able to do it manually.
good timer for a good price July 17, 2007 John C. Shaffer (Kingston, WA USA) I purchased two of these times and so far they are working flawlessly. Easy to program and use, they have the ability to water twice a day. I have not had these but a week so if things change anytime soon I will come back and update my review. Shipping as usual with amazon was fast.
Almost everything I needed... July 21, 2007 Laura E. Ricci (Edwards AFB, CA USA) I was looking for a timer that would run for 8 to 10 hours for my horse mister. This one will run for 4 hours twice. There is no readout so that you know it is doing th right thing, but it is very easy to use and it does what I need. So, for the money, I'm happy...
