Love this mug February 17, 2008 Terrence Cooke (Quakertown, Pennsylvania) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes, this is a wonderful mug and as advertised completely leak-proof. Coffee stays hot for many hours too. And, the clip comes in real handy when you have an armload of items to carrying into the office - just clip it on your jacket, purse or briefcase. I do find the mouth piece odd and would like it repositioned so that when you have a hold of the handle the liquid pours from the side and not the end. And I wish it held more liquid. BUT, I am willing to give up those minor features to have a mug that is completely leak-proof - no more coffee all over my car or clothes.
holy crap that's hot! March 10, 2008 AlexJB (san francisco, ca United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
my brother had recommended this mug, and showed me a really good review online. so i picked one up today... as soon as i got it home, i decided i should try it out and see if it would really keep my coffee hot as long as i want it to. boiling water, insert into mug, seal, set timer. i put the mug on its side to verify the leak-proofiness...... a full one hour later - pop open top, et voila!! steam comes pouring out! almost scaldingly hot water! woohoo!!!!
Best mug I've purchased (to date, anyway) April 8, 2008 Melvin W. Champion (Albuquerque, New Mexico United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
If I could have a dollar for every mug I've purchased, I'd have a nice 'stash' of cash! I've bought the expensive ones at the 'Premimum Coffee' stores (over priced, as usual), to mid range cost, and of course, even cheapO's. This has to be the nicest one I've purchased. It keeps the coffee steaming hot for hours, AND is spill proof as stated. (If you're not a slob, and watch what you're doing). There are special instructions for this unit that need to be read before you use it. You can't immerse it in water, for one. The 'open' drink mode is different, in that you have to turn the cap back one-half turn till the top lines itself (up and down), which feels a little weird, 'coz you get the feeling when you tip the cup up to drink, the top will fall off into your lap WITH the coffee, or it will, at least, leak like crazy. NOT TRUE. If you knock it over on a seat, the handle keeps it from rolling off. Also, it will not leak if it is knocked over. Nissan has done their 'homework' on this item. I can recommend it.
Best coffee mug ever, a thermos, duh? April 22, 2008 A. P. Shantz (Seattle, WA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Tried a few mugs out there. If you are serious about keeping your hot beverages, hot, and I mean hot, for 4-6 hours, warm through 8, then there is no other mug. Oh yeah, it's spill proof and has flawless pouring for no-spill drinking too. Limp wristers, a caution, if you tighten the lid moderately, the heat creates a suction and the lid tightens even more. This is the way to keep the liquids spill-proof and hot, but you can tighten it less for easier opening.
Truly Leak Proof January 19, 2007 A. Tedjeske (Doylestown, PA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As a commuter every morning commute, about 50 miles to work, a good mug is absolutely needed. After using several mugs, this is the first one I found to be strongly leak proof. You'll never have problems with coffee on your work cloths using this mug. It's also remarkably good at maintaining the heat of a beverage. An all around great purchase!!!
