stronger than expected October 22, 2007 S. Buley 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got introduced to these bags at farmer's market because one of the farmers uses them to bag the veggies you buy. I started re-using them and then bought a box of larger ones to line my kitchen trash can in an effort to cut my regular plastic use down as much as possible. I love them & I'm amazed at how strong they are. Definitely a great product you can feel good about!
Haven't leaked yet March 31, 2008 Russell P. Clarvoe (Belchertown,MA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I figured that these bags would break down ( since that's sorta the point ) while they were still in the compost basket. I'm on my second box and can happily report that they haven't leaked, broken or spilled food all over my house. Now we'll have to see if they EVER break down out in the heap.
There seems to be mistakes in this listing May 4, 2008 James Adcock 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
There seems to be mistakes in this listing. The image is of "Tall Kitchen" not "3 Gallon" size and the pricing doesn't make sense unless it is for three packages of the 3 gallon size -- the "Tall Kitchen" listing IS for three packages in which case the pricing is sensible. $19 for one box of 3 gallon size is not a sensible pricing. Please fix the listing!
Green Yes tough No! July 4, 2008 Gina M. Burns (Lyman, WY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These bags make your carbon footprint smaller but if you expect a strong bag forget it!
Very, very thin July 8, 2008 Amber (Baton Rouge) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
During the brief time I used these bags, at least half of the time the bag either tore or leaked. I'm all for "going green", but unless you're very delicate with your garbage, only placing perfectly dry and very soft/flexible/amorphous items in your kitchen garbage can, these just don't hold up to what I would consider typical and reasonable use.
