1 out of 5 stars Made in China   April 30, 2008

When I opened the box to put the wagon together the screws and nuts were all over the box. As I put it together I discovered that two pieces were broken. The welded points were very poorly done and they just painted over them. I contacted the company for replacement parts, but they said they couldn't help me since I bought it from Amazon. So I had to pack it up (which was fun) and send it back for a refund.

4 out of 5 stars Not a bad wagon for the money   April 11, 2008

The wagon wasn't too hard to put together, although the instructions which were clearly created in China, were not as helpful or clear as they could have been. Once assembled, the wagon worked well. One of the tires was flat, and apparently has a hole in the tube, but not a big concern. The only substantial improvement I would suggest would be a slightly higher rail around the edged of the wagon bed, which would make it easier to haul stuff without it falling off.

Good product, the HDC 350 lb. Load Capacity Flatbed Garden Wagon. But one bad thing tires go flat and will not seal back to rim.

2 out of 5 stars Got it today and..........   April 17, 2008

I just got this item and opened it up, finding there was only one nylon strap on the box at one end and just tape on the other. Once I got the box open and pulled out the tires, bars, flat bed I found all the assembly hardware was hanging out loosley with out being in a bag to keep them from falling out of the box. Once I got all those pieces out and put them in a plastic bag I started looking at what I had and I am missing most of the pieces. So now I cant even put the thing together. Very maddening and upsetting. I would think that an item of this price would not be shipped in a box that isnt put together securely and that the small pieces would be in a secure bag. I am hoping that I will get a repacement on the pieces.

4 out of 5 stars Great Value but it need to be shipped in a stronger box   May 1, 2008

I ordered the wagon Saturday 4/26 and got it Wednesday 4/30. It only cost $64.99 with free shipping. That was the good part. The bad part was when the "flimsy for what was inside" box arrived it had rips which caused washers to fall out as I carried it in the house. I was pissed. If there is anything more fustrating is trying to assemble something with missing parts. If the company put the parts in a strong sealed bad that would have helped. As it turns out small parts were just floating around inside the box. Assembly took under two hours including finding replacement nuts and bolts.

The best way to assemble it is to forget about reading the instructions and just follow the diagram which should have been shown upside down just like how you are assembling it. Bending brackets slightly to align the steering parts was necessary as well as installing washers between moving parts to ease the movement. Don't tighten too much or binding will occur. Lube with WD-40. The wagon itself is a very good value. The instructions says capacity 600 lbs., but the ads and box says 350 lbs. I would estimated a maximum working range of 450 lbs. The pneumatic tires work well as does the steering. The wagon itself is a very good value, and I am glad I bought it. After using it awhile I will forget about the shipping drama.
