My dog loves this bone! It took me a long time to find this item, and I'm so glad I did! My big, strong, Staffordshire Terrier can't destroy it, but LOVES trying! Great find!

This is a great chew toy. I have two hyper chewers..a rottweiler and a rat terrier. They are voracious. The Kong has been one great solution. The Kongs are abut two weeks old and still going strong. I fill them with all kinds of treats,,,mostly table scraps. The kongs are lasting long enough so the dogs are beginning to learn kongs are "yours" and my shoes are "mine". I do not like any of the other commercial chews...I hate to see all this weird stuff end up in my dogs tummies. The Kong is strong and won't become a gooey mess. Real meat knuckle bones and the Kong has restored peace to my home.
Good Toy for Heavy Chewers January 28, 2008

The point of failure for this Kong will most likely be the rubber fingers that hold the treats in the ends. These rubber fingers have started to crack very slightly after heavy use and will eventually cause me to discard the toy, but anyone with a dog that chews heavily will appreciate that the Kong lasted through many chewing and tug of war sessions.

I just got my dog one of these, my parents have had one for their dog for awhile. Both dogs are very destructive with toys and these kong bones stand up to years of chewing.
