Very sturdy. Quality materials. No problems with assembly. Had to spend two days coaxing our 16 month-old, 55 lb. Leopard Dog onto the bed (she would give me that look asking if I'd lost my mind). Finally convinced her to give it a try when I put her pad on top. Now, she won't sleep anywhere else. She used to get up frequently to change position on her orthopaedic pad - with the Coolaroo she sleeps through the night. Also keeps her pad from scooting across the floor so that the room looks neater (and makes for easier vacuuming - one hand to move the bed instead of dragging her pad back and forth). Would purchase her a replacement in a heartbeat, but can't imagine this one wearing out. Also, the large is the perfect size for her. Lots of stretching-out room, but not oversized.

Good product...sturdy and tough materials. Looks like it will last a long time under harsh conditions. And the doggies seem to love it!

After assembly, one of the legs popped up and the bed was in a twisted shape. After straightening out with the help of another person, I tried to tighten the bolts more to hold the frame in horizontal shape, but it twists up again. The combination of the fabric tension and the fact that frame pieces do not have a locking mechanism, makes it hard to keep the pieces in place just by tightening.

I had a problem with my dane chewing up all her beds. This solved the problem. No pillow stuffing to destroy. She lays on it all the time and seems to be very happy. I would recommend for all dogs that may destroy their beds.

I bought this for our constantly shedding and quite smelly lab as an alternative to a "traditional" dog bed that required washing once a week and replacing every couple months. We LOVE it...and so does our pooch. It was simple to put together and is giant (we got the large and it is LARGE!) Our dog likes it because she thinks it is a doggie couch, off the ground, keeps her cool and we throw a towel on it so she has some padding and snuggle material. I also love the value for such a large bed.
