I bought based on the 2 good reviews. but mine always made the water very dirty within a day.
We went for 7 day vacation, we had two very healthy bettas - one of them died by the time we came back...
I am going to try something else next time.

these blocks work very well. I have a two-gallon aquarium that houses 1 happy betta. (there was a goldfish in there, but he didn't live too long)
Anyways, because the tank is very good sized for a betta, the food doesn't cloud water and it keeps him well fed and happy. I recommend this for kids who have fish because feeding a betta every day and not knowing how hungry it is is annoying ;) Great product!
