A Humminghird "Magnet"! July 6, 2007 AhJay 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This stuff is incredible! Up until finding First Nature Nectar, we were mixing and boiling our own, and ~maybe~ seeing one of two of these little hummers a few times a week. The first few days of using First Nature, we were getting so many hummers that we actually had to buy another feeder! It's like a hummingbird magnet! And the great thing about it is, you just mix it with water [no more boiling and cooling!], put it in the feeder, and let nature take it from there! If you love these little creatures and want to see more of them, grab a bottle of First Nature, sit back and enjoy!
The best you can buy for attracting hummingbirds. August 22, 2007 Oh bother (beautiful Colorado) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This nectar is incredible attracting hummingbirds. They won't touch anything else. We live south of Denver in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies and have never seen so many hummingbirds in one place. Must be going through two gallons a week of more in nectar. At times there are a dozen "hummers" (Broad-tailed and Calliope) competing for spots at the three feeders. Its a joy to watch their flights. Don't hesitate to buy this product if your enjoy these birds.
My hummingbirds fight over this stuff August 25, 2006 JOEKC (Kansas City) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used this for three seasons now and, especially late in the summer, I have hummers at the feeder constantly. My only problem is it's difficult to find, but its worth the hunt. P.S. Don't use tap water. Mix it with spring water from your local grocery. In the evenings I usually have four or five hummers fighting for space at the feeder. Better than any hummingbird food I've tried.
Hard to find this November 15, 2007 D. Bazinett 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
After searching locally and on the internet for this stuff I finally found a supply at ACE Hardware. They had the large size for $7.98. The only place on the internet at a reasonable price is Amazon. Some places wanted more for shipping than the nectar itself. The minute I hung this up the hummingbirds were enjoying it. Nice to know I can get it at Amazon if ACE runs out.
Clear is Available July 13, 2008 Kittiecorner (Lyndonville, NY) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
If you go to the First Nature website, you'll see that they also have this product available in clear liquid form. No need to worry that the hummers may be hurt by the dye.
