Youth Serum August 3, 2006 P. Freedman (Los Angeles, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My dog is almost 15 years old, but on the recommendation of my vet, I started her on Synovi G3. The results were astounding. She is more energetic, more active and much less fearful. Lately, she's been running, leaping and generally acting more like a puppy than I thought possible. Also -- she thinks they taste great. Totally cool.
Yummie! June 1, 2007 A. Thomas (San Diego, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love eating these with milk! Just kidding. All my dogs love these. great size and consistancy for hiding meds in (medium soft...slightly softer than Authority liver treats but higher granularity). These are pretty big in size compared to soft liver treats as well (I'd say equivient to three liver treats). I'm sure they are helping my dogs out medically but like most suppliments, it's kind of tough to tell for sure since you can't really isolate what is making hair grow back, hair softer, etc...but I'm willing to continue to buy them since my dogs hair and skin issues have improved. DVM makes great products so I'm sure these are the best product in their class. The internal plastic bag helps keep em fresh for months. They have got to be nutritionally better then most other treats and my dogs rank them right up their with Puparonies so that's a win-win for all of us!
Works for us October 7, 2007 H. Chambers (Northern California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
We've used the Synovi G3 soft chews for several years, using the granules before that with our senior dogs. The 12 year old Aussie Shepherd runs with a bike for 5-7 miles a day and is not on any other arthritis meds. The Lab mix is 14 and is on Derimax as well as the Synovi G3. She does have some deterioration in her hips, and has slowed down quite a bit in the last year. When we got her as a rescue dog 11 years ago, the vet's estimate was 13-15 years as a life span for her. As the other reviewer said, it's hard to tell for sure, but, I think this has helped extend their comfort and delayed the arthritis symptoms on both dogs, and, they love love them and consider them a treat!
Puts the bounce back in an elder dog's step November 10, 2007 L. Keating (Massachusetts) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My dog is a German Shepherd Dog and they are known for arthritis and problems with their hips. He is nearing 14 yr. and was very lame, especially when getting up from a nap. The chews have given him back easier movement and he gets up more smoothly. He is back to running around the yard and playing ball games. In fact, he will not go out in the morning until he gets his chews. Yummy for his tummy and goody for his hips.
Akita make come-back October 3, 2007 Sara E. Carnescostello (Lake Placid, Florida USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My 4 year old, 110 pound male Akita, Zeus, was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at the age of 6 months. His is severe, bilateral (70%/80%). The pain was so severe he would not run and carried his right leg when he walked. We tried many treatments options before we found Synovi G3. After approximately a year, his pain has been well controlled using Synovi G3 Soft Chews once a day dosing. He now keeps up with our yellow lab, will run and play and no longer carries the right leg.
