The Original February 9, 2008 Grace (Pittsburgh) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I believe this to be the best clumping cat litter available. It clumps well, and keeps the odors at bay. I have driven up to an hour from home to be able to purchase this litter, after trying poor substitutes. I no longer have to do that, but to now have the convenience of home delivery is wonderful. As another reviewer noted, it's great not to have to haul these 40 pound bags from the store to the car and home. I will second that, but the main thing is the quality of the product. The vet who created this, happened to be my vet when I lived in Denver. He dealt exclusively with cats. I was a skeptic when I first purchased this product: originally only available in a gallon jug. I am so glad that I tried this product and will never switch.
I love it, cat does too April 20, 2008 Scott Galloway (Seattle, WA,) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm a relatively recent cat owner and total geek so I've tried pretty much every type of litter out there. Clay, pine, sawdust, pelleted paper, crystals, the lot! So far this has been my favourite. The problem with the other clay based litters has been the dust they produce, both when pouring it into the box and seeing my black cat with a white head after using the box. This stuff seems pretty much totally dust free. It does clump, not as much as stuff like the Arm & Hammer clumping stuff...but that's a good thing! Some other clumpers clump so much that you end up using a vast quantity of the stuff. This stuff is delivered to your door, weighs a ton; again, I think a good thing as it doesn't track out of the box as much as say the sawdust based litters which made my carper look like I was into caprentry. It also keeps the stink at bay (if I smell it, well it's time to empty the litter box...about every 2 days for my cat). All in all, great price, best litter I've tried.
Love this litter, NO DUST! May 5, 2008 Debra K. Noll (Stockton, IL United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We have multiple cats and started using this litter a few months ago. I love that it is TOTALLY DUST FREE. We used to get Fresh Step Litter, and it smelled nice but was sooo dusty. The cats took right to the new litter, and it keeps the odor down just fine. I do clean it every day. We also added the Litter Attractant. An added plus is that this litter is also cheaper than Fresh Step. Added July 6th, I came back to order more and the price has skyrocketed. I guess I'll drive to the store. A note on the dust, the first bags we got in the petsmart store were totally dust free. However, at least two of the bags we ordered here were quite dusty. I hope that's an error. I really want less dust.
FREE Super Saver Shipping, Perfume Free, ...but dusty May 26, 2008 EJG (Franklin NC) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This litter doesn't have perfume which I think is good for the cat especially if she is asthmatic and has severe allergies. Usually even healthy cats don't like human perfumes. It clumps well too. The only negative thing I have to say about this litter is about the dust. It advertises as "99.9% dust free". That .1% is still a LOT of dust. But still it is not as much dust as I have seen in other litters. It is less dusty but not nearly totally dust-free as I had believed it would be since it was said that it was 99.9% dust free. The best reason I like it is the no perfumes. I also like being able to order it with FREE Super Saver Shipping and have it lugged home by somebody else. The UPS guy is great, he never complains even when I order 4 bags at a time.
Great stuff, but.... June 27, 2008 Claudia Grinnell 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
what's with the price increase? Add the shipping to the price, and this litter has definitely moved beyond the "somewhat expensive but worth it" to the "not worth it any more" category. KatKat ain't happy... Me, neither...
