 Awesome, but give kitty a chance! June 4, 2007
I love my mirror
It's starting to get on my nerves how consumers whine about a toy because their cat didn't act like a cat in a photo ad did! I rate on how well-made the device is and how intelligent it is based on a cat's instinctive behavior. If the cat doesn't like it, it's because it's not her thing. Liking a toy or not is always a cat's prerogative. Anyhow, my cat LOVED this! It's AWESOME! It was one of her birthday toys, along with Da Bird toy, and she had never showed interest before in any cat toy. She pounced on the bag immediately, loving the crinkly noises, and rolled on it, smacking the attached toys around. Then she lay on it all night, purring. When she plays, it sounds a lot like a loud crunchy paper bag but without the worries of bugs, roach eggs and shredded mess that comes with paper grocery bags. This is VERY well put-together, very rugged, clean and strong. No cheap unravelings, no stinky plastic smell, nothing dangerous for kitty to swallow. The inside is soft and comfy. The mouth of the bag is made with protected wiring so you can shape it to stay open or loosely close it and let your kitty be sly and hide. Also, this cat-bag is BIG. No lying photos with tiny kittens to fool you. Don't leave it out all the time. Put it away and take it out to tease and keep kitty interested. My cat is yet to climb completely inside the bag itself, so far she is only jammming her head and paws in to catch imaginary giant mice, but that is normal for a cat to take it's time. I suggest people stop demanding of their cats to act like puppies and give your kitty time to love on this bag. It's worth every penny!
