It seems to work July 9, 2008 David F. Nolan (Tucson, AZ United States) We have two cats, and they don't get along all that well. The male cat is very active - we call him Scooter - and he constantly tries to play with the female cat, who does not appreciate his attentions, and shows her displeasure by peeing in inappropriate places. About 18 months ago we tried Feliway, and it calms them both down. One refill lasts about 5 weeks, so you'll go through about 10 refills (about $150 worth) in a year. Probably worth it if you have misbehaving cats.
Feline hormonal prozac! July 19, 2008 Rush Fan (Troy, NY USA) I love Feliway! Used to have issues w/my cats being aggressive and ummm territorial [urinating on a wall]. With Feliway, they really chill out and get along so much better. I like the diffuser way better than the spray - it is consistent. Buying them on Amazon makes it more affordable. I get the 6-pak. Most of the time it is EntirelyPets that has the best offer. It came to my house so fast - I couldn't believe it had even been boxed! I blinked and there it was!
My cats love the Feliway plug in July 29, 2008 K. Hostetler (Long Beach, CA) I recently introduced a new kitten to our three cat household. Until I got the plug in, things were a little tense. After a few days with Feliway in the air, the older cats mellowed out and 2 of them started to mother the baby. We are now one big happy feline family.
calm kitties August 8, 2008 Catherine L. Marro (miami, FL) Felliway is awesome...and neccesary in my multi-cat household. I keep these things plugged in all over the house and during periods of extra stress (visitors, for example) I also use the felliway spray (exactly as my feline behaviorist instructed). Without Felliway there would be mayhem and cat urine all over my home!!
I'm impressed! August 15, 2008 Barrie Sosinsky (Medfield, MA USA) This product worked spectacularly well in my house with 6 cats in 2400 sq feet. With two males (neutered) and four females (not spaded) we have had constant problems over the past three years with cats spraying areas to establish territoriality. We have 10 litter boxes scattered about with 3 or 4 different types of litter (more than the n+1 rule), but this hasn't eliminated the problem. I've tried isolating cats with their own litter box, and although this helps it also didn't solve the problem. About three weeks ago we installed 6 diffusers throughout the house -- particularly in areas where the cats constantly soiled. The result was almost immediate. They stopped urinating outside of the litter boxes. In only one instance has a cat urinated, and that was in a room we normally have as a cat free zone. The problems caused by having the second male cat hasn't disappeared. He is socially immature and tends to attack the other cats, but the stress levels for the cats have gone down. I wish we had known about this product sooner. Other than its cost, which is a problem, Felliway does what it claims and I will be using it from now on and am an enthusiastic endorser.
