Feliway Diffuser April 13, 2007 D. Whelan (N.J. USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have used this product for several years in a multi-cat household with excellent results. It has proven to be very helpful with the stress & anxiety of introducing a new member to our crew and helps maintain happy housemates.

My vet recommended trying Feliway when my four year old male cat urinated outside his box and no physical reason was found. He was a second cat recently introduced into the household. Both cats seemed to be less stressed and far more playful with each other, and appropriate litter box usage resumed. So far, so good! It's great being able to find a more economical refill option.

I didn't have much luck with the room spray, but the diffusers work great for my neurotic cat who gets stressed easily and takes it out on the other two cats. She is less aggressive when we have the diffusers plugged in. (They say that one diffuser covers 500 sq. feet -- this seems to be about right.)

The Feliway diffuser is one of the only remedies I have found that helps alleviate my male cat's spraying problem. Just when I think he's over it at last, and I stop using the diffusers, he starts it again. I'm convinced they really do help.

This is an awesome product! Our cat, Uno, WAS very skiddish - all the time! She is also prone to eye infections because she has the equalivant to human herpes virus. With the use of this product, she is noticeably calmer but not "sedated". And we have not had an eye flare-up since she has been using these. All you do is plug the unit (about the size of an air freshner) into the wall and that's it. We humans do not smell anything. We use one in her room and one on the main level of our home. This has been a godsend ! We now have a "normal" (or as normal as any cat actually gets) little kittie!
