This product only works on OS 10.4 or higher - and iMacs can't upgrade to 10.5. Luckily found 10.4 on eBay (www.allmac.com.) Screwed up iTunes, wasted several hours, etc. PITA.
Long story short - Turbotax is not worth the hassle. There was no need to force users to upgrade. Supposedly needed to do it for enhanced "features" (though I can't find out what they are). I saw no new features that I saw versus old versions. (I've been using this SW since it was Macintax!)
In fact several things not working. Forgot that I contributed to SEP Fund, screwed up calculations of AMT, just runs glitchy. They should have spent more time on fundamentals than adding glitzy "features" with no benefits.
If you find a Mac friendly tax program that can read the old turbotax files please share! I'm never buying this software again.

We've used Turbotax for many years and couldn't live without it. This year we bought the Business version because we have estate issues to deal with.

I'm sending this back. I've used MacinTax, then TurboTax for 15 years, with increasing dissatisfaction, as more useless junk gets added into the program. Now to discover, after getting the product and performing an apparently normal installation, that it will not open... and I cannot use it...is the last straw. In very small type on its cover, and on the start up sheet INSIDE the package, is the information that it will work only on OS 10.4 or higher. OS 10.3.9 is a still-popular OS X operating system. This Intuit decision is TOO much. Goodbye Intuit.

I have been using Turbo Tax for my family and our different business ventures and they seem to have all that I need for this. I have used Turbo Tax for probably 10 years now.
Exactly what I needed - but if you E-file, it'll cost you extra March 2, 2008

I knew what I needed and Amazon seemed like the best place to get it, since it was the lowest price. I loved the product, but I did expect to have additional costs for an extra state. I also had to pay extra to e-file. If you buy straight from the Turbo Tax website, the e-file fees are already included. I would recommend buying from there and downloading from there as well if you're going to e-file, but if you'd rather mail in your return, Amazon is the place to get it, because it still is the cheapest price.
