TaxCut has always been my first choice and still is! I found the business software not quite as helpful in explainations as the personal software is. I still had little difficulty in finding exactly what I needed by using the help menu and going to the IRS site link inside TaxCut.

The product is ok, but I am a tax professional and know where to put things. I have used Turbo tax in the past and prefer it greatly over this product. Also, I was needing to get Cd's to update my program due to trouble with my internet connection and was told that the business updates wouldn't be available until after March 30... Corporate tax returns are DUE March 15th. They were very unhelpful and rude!

I have used this product over the last few years and each year it has improved in usability. The first year I bought it for the lower price over Turbo Tax. Now I buy it because I consider it an excellent product.

If you want a cheap, all forms (1120, 990, 1065, W2s,1099s etc) of every shade and color, then this is your program. Warning though, it is brittle and will wipe out a return in process if you are not careful. Hit the "save" button often. Somewhat cumbersome to use on top of that.
Printing returns caused printing problems so I used their option to print in pdf format and then printed off of my Acrobat program. May be a memory problem of my machine.
A cheap solution if you only need to prepare a few returns. A 2 star program rated 4 stars based on inclusiveness and price.
Update: a few problems in running program, now the downloads appear to have everything working right...early April.
 Taxcut Business Defective February 10, 2007

I purchased Taxcut Business 2006 because I have several 1041's to file for some trusts my family has. Unfortunately the program turned out to be defective as it would not install on my computer because I only have a hard drive designated as F. There is no C hard drive on my computer. This is the first program that I have ever had a problem with. As it is supposed to be a business program it would not seem unreasonable that a business computer may have several hard drives and it may be desired to install the program on something other than C. After calling, and a lot of waiting, the technical support many times no one at TaxCut seemed to be able to offer a solution. Several times they said they would call back but after 3 weeks no one has. I also sent several e-mail messages to their technical support but never got anything back except a standard canned message. If the inside of the program is as bad as the installation seems to be I now have missgivings about using this program. On the basis of my experience I would recommend not buying TaxCut - go to Turbotax or something. It may cost a little more but would probably be more dependable.
