5 out of 5 stars Incredible game.   July 12, 2007

I absolutely love this game!! I've never really been interested in computer games, but when I received this in elementary school I absolutely loved it. Now being a junior in high school I keep finding myself wanting to play it again! Although, once you've beaten it, you pretty much know how to play the whole game which stinks. If they were to make another game like this, I don't care how old I am, I will buy it!

It's incredibly educational, but still really fun and engaging. I absolutely love history so when I showed this to my little brother, who's now about the same age I was when I received it, he was skeptical. However, I got him to play it and now it's one of his favorite games.

Parents, get this for your kids! Or if your just a big kid like me who loves history I'd still get it.

5 out of 5 stars You'll learn things in a fun way and never forget them.   April 8, 2008

I first bought this game back when i was in grade school, maybee early middle school. I loved it and played it all the time. I just repurchased it because one of my disks got severly damaged by my a little monter who now loves to play it too.
There are certian moments and people in history that i remember soley because of this game. For example, that Johannes Gutenberg invented the printing press, or the order of the decleration of independantce, or the bill of rights. I relly hope it will work on XP. Buy it you'll make an impression on your kids for a lifetime.

I know this is not a blog but, Is this the one that you go to japan and egypt...that's all i remember. I want to buy it again because it was my favorite game growing up. I found it today and I really want to buy it but i don't know if it's the one I used to play.

1 out of 5 stars Deceptive title   July 10, 2008

I've never played this game and don't intend to..but I felt it was neccesary to review it for anyone who might think they might buy this and expect the '80s/'90s Time format. Obviously, TLC released it under its former title to increase sales, a shrewed but misleading tactic. They've turned Time, by far the most difficult version of the classic Carmen games, into a predictable adventure game. Kids who've reviewed it here seem to like it and that's great..but if you're an '80/90s child looking to buy this for nostalgia, forget it. You're better off watching the classic TV game show on DailyMotion or YouTube.
