Great for students! December 10, 2004 D. Fleming 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
This program replaces the need for a notebook. I keep all my notes in there and its easy to search for particular notes. Also keeps everything organized. Great software, I recommend it highly!

One Note 2003 August 30, 2005 Martiee (Nasvhille TN) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Great program. Just wish the voice recording had more options, like slower playback etc. Use it in my Master's program & really helps with organization of all my classes. Couldn't do without it!
Very good, documentation lacking! :-( January 16, 2006 John W. Halko Jr. (Boonton, NJ United States) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I find that Microsoft one note 2003 is an excellent program. I just bought it & I already love it, after using it for only 1 1/2 days I worked on it almost all day yesterday and it has already drastically changed the way I work and increased my efficiency/organization Now to the criticism! My one really big frustration/an annoyance is the lack of documentation (no manual) I have a lot of questions I'm pretty sure/almost certain that the program will allow me to do certain specific things that I want to do. For example have multiple "notebooks" but I cannot figure out how nor can I find any mention update in the adequate online help. :-( another thing I would like to do is to rename the stupid title "My Notebook" to a more meaningful name for myself. I should explain here that I want to use the software for two very different purposes, at least two very different purposes 1 organize the vast amounts of research notes I have writing my first whodunit. :-) 2 I am a professional Web developer and I want to use it to organize all the various bits of information associated with my multiple Web development projects. Ideally having one" notebook" for each project. I find myself forest to purchase multiple overpriced third-party documentation manuals. This is something I hate to do and feel that I he should not have to I should note here that even with my criticisms I really wanted to give the program 3 1/2 stars instead of three stars :-)
A Must-Have Organizational Tool for Any Professional (or Gamer) October 17, 2006 Amanda J. Meerdink 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I used MS OneNote daily at work to keep track of documentation and to save and organize canned emails. This program has saved me a lot of time that might otherwise be spent organizing folders and folders of hundreds of MS Word documents. One of the features I love is that you can highlight website content, including images, and copy and paste directly into OneNote really easily. This allows you to easy move documentation and information all into one place instead of having to dig through numerous files and websites. I also use this tool at home to keep track of information while playing MMORPGs. I can have separate tabs for different games or different characters, tabs for professions, skill point calculations, DKP recording, Master Looting notes, and so forth. I love the fact that you don't have to save, ever... it does that automatically... so you can keep the program open all day and just keep adding notes whenever you need to.
