Age of poor customer service July 30, 2008 Amber Masse 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
In game moderators banning people left and right in game for utilizing terrain to defeat mobs. Forum Mods banning and deleting any post that is critical of their game flame or not. In game issues like falling through the world and your petition for help spans for days without response. No directx10 what so ever. System spec to run game are wrong on the box. Very poor support for 32 bit systems. No responses to emails to their supposed service desk and the list goes on and on. Do your self a favor and pass on this game. The 50$ you save will be better spent in your fuel tank.
A great game that never was... September 4, 2008 Christopher E. Hahn (military roamer) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really wish Funcom would have waited and added content to the game before the released it. This game has probably the best combat system ever designed for an mmorpg and that's where it stops. Quests lack depth, pvp isn't fun, end game content didn't work...I could go on and on. Give Funcom another 6 months and this could be a great game but, it is probably too late. Server populations are 1/4 of what they used to be and falling rapidly.

Amazon preorder worthless May 28, 2008 T. Howe 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
I will not be pre-ordering from Amazon again. I don't usually purchase games through Amazon, (they're great for lots of other things), but I decided to grab Conan CE since I do a lot of other business with them. The whole point of pre-ordering this sort of game is to insure you get to be one of the first people playing. Instead all my friends who ran out to Best Buy, Gamestop, whatever are playing and I'm not. Current delay has been bumped up to 6/6 -6/13. The game came out 5/20. I'll stick with the people that know how to sell games next time.
Amazon, you're full of it! May 28, 2008 J. M. Christensen 1 out of 19 found this review helpful
I preordered this in January. When May came around it was kicked out because they failed to send me any warning that it was out of stock. I was able to get on the early access and was happy as could be until Amazon screwed everything up and failed to get me the collector's edition. Now its in stock after I had to shell out some cash to Gamestop for the regular version of the game. You're unbelievable Amazon! How many emails did you send me, all of which said your not getting any copies. WTF! Well I learned my lesson. I'll never preorder or trust Amazon again.
