Not the typical point-n-click story game July 20, 2008 Yao (California, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sherlock Holmes Nemesis features a completely new game engine that is not the usual Point-n-Click game. Instead of playing from a third person viewpoint, it is more like a First person shooting game. To others, this may be a bonus, but for me, who hates first person shooting games (they make me dizzy), I found it very disappointing. On the plus side, this game presents great graphical details. The background music is quite pleasant and suited to the intrigue nature of the game. As mentioned by other reviewers, most of the puzzles are too complex and sometimes involves pixel hunting. Not very rewarding.
Great Scenery and Good Mystery June 28, 2008 Charlotte A. Meiter 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was really impressed with the wonderful grafics. The inside of the museum with all the pictures was awesome. Good game.
Good story line with June 29, 2008 William Marvel (East Greenwich, Rhode Island United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game offers a good story line with plenty of interaction with the game characters. The game puzzles are in some instances very hard (Be advised have a walkthrough handy). My particular game was in some areas difficult to control mouse movement and camera movement (Herky-jerky). With patience I was able to get through the difficulties. Because of the mouse/camera problems I will rate the game a B-.
Long, boring and difficult July 30, 2008 Marji (N.C.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a very long and tedious game. Your need a walkthrough to know what to do. Mouse control spins around. Graphics are the only good thing.I'm probably not even going to finish the game as it is so boring. Not many puzzles either.
Point and click game for the most part. July 31, 2008 Bone (Atchison, Kansas United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Some of the puzzles are quite obscure in their reasoning. Sheer luck, rather than Sherlock is required in many scenerios.
