The program installs easily and is excellent in finding viruses and malware, but with any program, it is only as good as it's service. I have some issues with the program and have tried contacting support numerous times.. going on 2 weeks and still no response. Although the program is better than most I would seek one that also gave good service

Amazing software
fast, easy, automated hourly updates, light on old machines, two years updates and up to 3 pc's cover, and the cheapest among all anti-virus + anti-spams and internet security.
Truly the best Total security
I highly recommend it to everyone

I thought BiDefender was protecting my computer, but I was wrong! Instead, it infected me with an obnoxious trojan/virus. Their technical support appeared helpful in the beginning, but after three weeks of emails back and forth and several 6-hour scans, I gave up. They never could remove the virus.
I had my computer checked out by BestBuy who said I was so badly infected I should do a complete system recovery, which I was about to do when I decided to give Kaspersky 7.0 a try. Well, it cleaned my whole system and eliminated 61 virus/trojan/adware files and my computer is now working just great.
I suppose BitDefender works fine, as long as you don't get infected. My advice, stay away from it--try Kaspersky instead.

I have used Bit Defender for several years on many different machines.
It is the best product in its class, or was, until BD 2008.
This is very buggy software now, with modules ceasing to work and requiring reboot, until finally the software completely quits and you need a special uninstall tool from Bit Defender to get rid of it.
Their registration website has been down for quite a while, so maybe they are going out of business??
Or maybe they will fire the product manager for this version and get back to their roots.

Last year norton 360 sw to bitdefender total 08 and find it faster with better options like dup file finder!
Two year pack, 3 computers with a price u can't beat!!
