Old Version August 7, 2008 Lisa A. Davis (Columbia, SC) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
When I ordered this product, I was to beleive it was the current version. It was not. I had to download the current version off of the internet, which of course, requires lots more time and trying to get compatiable with my computer. I paid for the current version $54.00. I should not have received a lesser version and end up upgrading and downloading on the internet.
not good for me.. August 10, 2008 K. cortez 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
when I saw that kaspersky has a good review from CNET i immediately ordered this. It slowed my pc to the extent that I needed to wait 10 minutes just to load my contol panel and delete it. I do have a good size hard drive and this didn't help.
Good combination. Strong, everything you need, nothing you don't. August 13, 2008 J. Rast 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had never heard of Kaspersky before looking over independent testing results comparing it with other security suites and antivirus programs. It looked good on the ratings, it was comparable in price, so I took a chance and bought it. Does a good job, so far as I can tell. Of course I don't know whether it's saved my computer from attack or not, but it seems capable. And the best part: LOW USAGE OF RESOURCES!! Doesn't noticeably slow down the computer at all, even while it's updating its databases, or running a scan. Only downside is that it got a bit annoying at first while it was learning what programs to trust and what programs not to. But now that it's learned, I have no problems whatsoever. Bottom line: worth every dime, and then some.
Kaspersky Internet Security 7.0 August 14, 2008 John D. Horgan (Pittsburgh, Pa) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased this product based on the reviews of CNET and other on line sources. I have only been using it for a few weeks as of 08/14/08. Perhaps it's just me but I have found it difficult to use and confusing as to how to properly run all the various options. I had been using Trend Micro and it was fairly simple to to understand and use. If Kasperskey lives up to it's reputation I will be pleased.
Much better than ZoneAlarm August 19, 2008 J. Cummings Recently purchased this at Amazon and overall am very happy with the firewall. Some people may be put off by the initial training mode, but it is worth the work for peace of mind. I used to use zone alarm suite for the past 4 years but recently they have become unstable to say the least. I look forward to Kaspersky to keep up the good work!
