4 out of 5 stars Great swim aid   August 23, 2007

This suit helps our son swim on his own confidently. My only complaint is that the strap gives him a wedgie.

4 out of 5 stars Swimline Trainer Tube   August 24, 2007
Tiffany Overton (Winfield, AL)
I think that this is a great item; however, if your child is not big enough to swim somewhat or at least kick and move his hands, do not let them go, because the tube will flip him forward. My son is a little young, 18 months, and it is great, because we don't have to be constantly worried about him in the pool, or constantly holding him; however, we do still have to at least hold his hands to keep him from turning face first. It is much easier still, though.

5 out of 5 stars Very sturdy & stable for busy toddler   December 29, 2007
M. Conley (Colorado)
My son has now outgrown this swim trainer but we were very happy with it while it fit! It's so stable in the water & he never once tipped over so he felt so comfortable in the pool. It was a little hard to get on but that just meant it wasn't going to slip off in the water. The air valve is like a bicycle tire so it takes a little more effort to fill it with air but again, that's part of what makes this item so sturdy. I think we used this from about 2-3.5 years & my son is a hefty kid!

5 out of 5 stars Great for 2 or 3 year olds!   February 13, 2008
B. Cha (Chicago, IL United States)
We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old daughter for our weekend trip to the Dells. It was perfect. Very sturdy (made from ruber tubing) and you had to blow it up with a bicycle pump. My daughter was used to it almost instantly and was able to be independent in the water without having to hang on to us at all times. She was almost a little too independent because she tried to swim away from us on several occassions. We had to keep grabbing on to her to keep her near us. She loved it and so did we!!! I highly recommend it to anyone with a 2 or 3 year old child.

1 out of 5 stars unsatisfied   February 18, 2008
Ryan R. (Provo, UT USA)
I was very excited to see a tube to purchase for my kids much like I remember wearing as a kid. I was very disappointed, it almost completely forces my daughters face right into the water. The one I grew up in I could jump off the ledge of the pool into the water and my head would never go under. This product seemed very unsafe, I had to hold my daughter very carefully and closely so she wouldn't swallow too much water. What a waste of money!
