Excellent Product October 18, 2007 Ken Doake (Oklahoma City, OK) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Checked Consumer Reports for leaf blower; they said "The most powerful one we tested, more powerful than many gas models, yet quieter and cleaner." A nice surprise was the variable speed control, dial what you like. As always you have to drag a cord but this is a very nice unit. Ken
Vaccume August 31, 2007 Nancy Jane (Auburn, CA USA) 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
The vaccume does not work well on black oak leaves. It clogs up and I have to keep putting my arm up the shoot to unclog it. The mulcher doesn't mulch black oak too well either. The blower works great..

This is my second Toro and this is the best. Great variable speed for small to large jobs. Very powerful indeed, as advertized.
Buying electric is a great step in the direction of going GREEN October 20, 2007 Desiree Fernandez 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews for this blower/vac (as compared to others), I decided to order it. I've used it 4 or 5 times. I am impressed with it's power in both of it's uses. As advertised, the mulcher condenses what would be 16 bags into 1. I live on a property that has 2 huge oak trees so I find this particularly valuable. Each time I use it I start with the blower and then switch to the vac/mulcher. The process is simple and quick. However, I do worry that with a lot of use the plastic snap that needs to be pressed to switch between the two operations may someday crack. That said, it hasn't yet. Toro; If you're reading this: Plastic is not supposed to bend in the same place over and over again without a hinge. Something to think about. To end on a positive note any of the electric yard tools are better than gas-powered for our environment. The small gas engine is an environmental nightmare!
Happy Buyer October 30, 2007 C. Marks 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I am very impressed with the Toro Blower/Vacuum... The Blower is VERY powerful and is adjustable. The vacuum is also very impressive. The only down side so far has to be the cord.. We have a huge yard and the cord only reaches so far. (I suppose I can solve that by buying a longer cord) Also the vacuum is a bit time consuming versus just picking up the leaves by hand. You do save a lot of time by blowing the leaves in to a pile instead of having to rake them though. Overall we are extremely happy!
