Recently we purchased a Sharp Aquos HD flat panel LCD televsion from J&R Music World. I wanted to protect my investment so I purchased the Belkin Outlet Home protector from Amazon.com.
After 3 days, I did not receive the Belkin protector unit. Amazon's delivery policy is not what it use to be--I use to receive items in a couple of days, now I have to wait a week.
Anyway, in the interim, I went back to J&R Music World and purchased a Monster surge protector. When I received the Belkin from Amazon, the quality difference was quite noticeable. The Belkin is truly a superb protector and it is half the price of the Monster unit. I would definately buy the Belkin again, but if you're anxious to use it quickly, I suggest purchasing it at a local store.

I love this because of the expanded space for big plugs. I don't know why they bother to make surge protectors without room for the large plugs computers have. To me it seems unsafe to plug multiple surge protectors into each other so you can get ALL of your computer stuff hooked up.

Great - big - everything fits with no overlap. Like the glowing lights on it. Sturdy - reliable. A definate 5 star BUY. I read the others...who needs colors? Who needs tilting outlets? Wish it came in white but hey, I wish it came in carpet colors too - can't have everything. Fantastic product...let it rain, let it pour, let it lightening all it wants to now. Bring on the tornado with that electrical storm...I won't lose a wink of sleep running around unplugging all my electricals (computer, etc)...or worrying wondering if I unplugged everything before I left for that hard earned vacation. Time to go to sleep so excuse me....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. (wink!)

The Belkin 12-outlet surge protector is great! I was seriously running out of outlets for my expanding computer set up. I saw this product at Target for $40, but held off purchasing it just then. I checked Amazon when I got home, and was tickled to find that they had it for under $23. I works well and is well designed.

Arrived quickly. Sturdy build. Plenty of outlets. I like the flat plug so furnature can be placed close to the wall without a big plug sticking out.
