You could light a landing strip with this! February 8, 2008 Ginny (Ohio) 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
I gave this item as a gift to my oldest son. He loves it. The first night he had it charged, his puppy ran off, and thanks to this spotlight, he found her right away. He told me he has never used such a powerful light.
Very bright, but not practical February 23, 2008 Butterfly Lady (CT) 8 out of 9 found this review helpful
Yes, this light is extremely bright, but it's so huge, that it's not practical to use. I'm keeping it anyway, as an emergency light, but had I known how big & heavy it was, I wouldn't have ordered it.
Big Light January 9, 2008 Robert N. Pinkley (Greenville, SC) 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
I had no idea how big this light was until I received it. By looking at the picture, you would think that this is a one-handed light. It's not - it's huge. I believe it was supposed to come with a cord for charging the battery through the cigarette lighter in your car, but it didn't. On the plus side, this is the brightest light I've ever seen!
Your Standard Comically Huge Flashlight February 26, 2008 CincyCarpenter (Cincinnati, OH) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This isn't a standard household flashlight to take down to the basement when a fuse blows. It's absurdly huge and bright. I bought it for the novelty of having a comically huge flashlight, and it did not disappoint. I had the same problem as the other poster with the charge LED not flashing light it's supposed to. The battery is decent size, but the bulb sucks so much power, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't last very long. I haven't used it enough to run down the battery, though. I got it for $15, and I'm happy with it. One feature that probably rarely get used - the flashlight has a car-style 12V outlet on it, so you can use it to power other small battery-powered items like your Ipod or cell phone charger.
