Not exactly what I'd expected. May 14, 2007 D. P. Holmes (Chicago, IL USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Setup and usage was easy but the downside was that the transfer speed was about 33k which was less that the normal 56k dial-up speed.
Wireless Phone Jack October 20, 2007 Honest Advice (Kansas City) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this because I did not have a phone jack close to the place where I wanted to put my fax machine and there would have been no easy way to install a jack there. It works beautifully. Faxes come in and go out without any problems and at the same speed that I previously experienced when I use a wired connection. I recommend this device as a good alternative to a conventional wired phone jack.
Works great with Dish Network HDTV ViP722 DVR receiver February 28, 2008 R. Taylor (Houston, TX USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This product works great; I now understand why it's recommended by Dish Network and DIRECTV. I recently upgraded my system and have the DishHD ViP722 DVR receiver. When I received the PX-211 in the mail yesterday, I had it installed/working within 5 minutes. Not only do I save $5 a month from Dish Network by having a phone connection, my caller-id information is displayed on my TV for all incoming calls. I had tried 2 different models of RCA wireless phone jacks and had to return them because they didn't work right with my satellite receivers (the model RC930 locked up my phone line after the first ring on my old Dish receiver). I'm not knocking RCA products; both models worked OK for just phone use. This phone line is also my AT&T DSL line; I use the 2Wire DSL filter on both the incoming phone line to the PX-211 base unit and the outgoing phone line from the extension unit. I agree with some of the other comments about the instructions being brief; actually, I consider this a plus because they're easy to follow. Come on, this isn't rocket science; you just plug them in to a wall socket and hook up the phone lines; nothing to it! I wish that I had heard about the PX-211 earlier; it would have saved me a lot of frustration in trying out other units on my satellite system.

i purchased these units to help me with my Satellite dish TV and they worked exactly like they billed themselves and I have been happy with the purchase and would recommend them for others.
Perfect! August 9, 2007 Stephen W. Desterhaft 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This device worked exactly as advertised. I now have my Dish Network HD Receiver connected to the Easy Jack 2, saving me $5/month in Dish fees. This unit will pay for itself in less than a year. Perfect!
