This is a fun toy for children! My own two kids had one growing up and I purchased two more this past Christmas for two small cousins. They loved their Flying Turtles, too!

This is a fun toy and the kids get a lot of amused looks when they ride on it. It works well when the conditions are right, and not at all when they are wrong. The "right" conditions are a flat and smooth surface (asphalt or concrete - doesn't matter) that is completely free of gravel or any any debris. Under those conditions, the design works fine. Just sit on it, start moving the handles, and the motion of the front wheels "magically" pulls you along. A little pricey for what you get and the limited usefulness, but it's a fun toy if the price doesn't matter and you have the right space to use it. (Let me emphasize again - if you don't have these conditions, you'll NEVER use it.)

My husband and I decided to buy the grandkids these Flying Turtles. Little did we realize we were giving "fun" as a gift for Christmas. Our 9 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy squealled with delight and liberated their turtles from their cartons. Off to the basement onto the cement floor. "Come see us, Grammy" were the shouts from below. As I came down the stairs, a purple then a green "turtle" passed me as they swerved about on the riding toy,moving about with ease,but working the handlebars at a fever pitch. They love them I thought, but we better not tell them its good exercise!

The kids love their Turtle. My 5 year old enjoys riding it and it took my 2 year old a few days to figure it out. Only works on smooth flat surfaces, doesnt climb slopes. My 2 boys ride them mostly in our basement playroom and love it. Cant really use them outdoors where i live, pretty bummed out. These turtles are not cheap for the little amount of use we get out of them. If you had a big driveway they would be awesome!!!

This bike/ride-on toy is super. We have been allowing our 6 year old to ride this on the hard wood floors and it has been a great rainy day toy. Even our 8 year old begs for turns. The kids just zoom around quietly going from room to room. Outside this toy requires a flat surface since brakes=feet! It would be great at a BB or tennis court or just a level road or driveway. There was no assembly and it is light enough to carry to the park and small enough to fit in any trunk! We love it!!
