Excellent game for everyone June 16, 2008 The GAME (Steph's bedroom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
For those familiar with the Star Wars lego games, this version far surpasses it. Their are many more puzzles in Indiana Jones and they tend to be more difficult in finding some of the secrets and hidden items. This extra challenge makes this game more fun for the older crowd. It isnt just punching every piece of scenery and bad guys in sight. Granted it does have very similar gameplay to star wars, but they have added many new features, such as swinging from whips and vines, climbing and swimming. There and not as many levels and characters as star wars, but the levels are better designed and more encompassing. This is really the only area I think they should have improved on. Each movie has 6 levels, just like the star wars game, but youre comparing 6 movies vs 3. So there are double the levels in the star wars game. The other issue is that many of the characters in this game are Indiana and supporting women just wearing different clothes. However, each character does have unique abilities which makes solving puzzles that much more tricky and satisfying. I would highly recommend this game to everyone, even those that believe this is just a kids game. It is popular among college kids as well.
I loved it June 18, 2008 Casey Thomas 1 out of 2 found this review helpful

Another Good Humourous Lego Game! June 19, 2008 Cousin It 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Originally bought for my 13 year old who still loves Lego and thoroughly enjoyed Lego Star Wars. He is really enjoying this game. It follows reasonably well the stories of each of the first three films. The graphics are great, the characters are pretty cool, the puzzles are not so difficult for little people, but on the other hand they aren't too boring for my son at his age either. There are a lot of levels and a lot of things to unlock. And a great deal of humour too such as "Poo Treasure" and the various cut scenes that like the other Lego Titles are very humourous. I think that it would be suitable for ages 4 and up, but some of the humour will be lost on the younger children and anyone who hasn't seen the films, but that won't spoil their enjoyment of the game. My son's only complaints are that "boys can't jump high, only girls can" and "girls won't carry stuff", and only certain characters can carry certain weapons or carry out certain actions. It has so far kept him entertained for around 35 hours (not all at once!) and he has many more hours of play left.
Too Much Fun June 27, 2008 John (Branford, CT United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Got it for the kids. Kept it for me! Lots of fun to work together to figure out secret puzzle solutions etc. Easier to figure out than Lego Star Wars - we have completed 50% in far fewer hours. Graphics are good. If you enjoy Star Wars, don't pass this up. It's different enough to add hours of fun to your gaming experience. We have been watching the Indy movies and much of the game follows the script of the first three movies!
This game is great!! June 29, 2008 C. Rogers (Birch Run, MI) First of all, I am NOT a fan of many PS3 games. The 3-D motion gives me a headache and makes me motion sick. The controls for the PS3 are just way too confusing on most games and there are WAY too many buttons. Give me a DS any day and I am a happy camper. But I still loved this game. I am not so sure I would have played through it on my own, but my boyfriend and I spent the better part of a weekend playing through it together. It was great!! The graphics are great on our 42 inch plasma, the game play is a blast and the humor is one of a kind. It is a little short if you just want to play through the game to beat it, but there are so many unlockables and things you have to find. We finished all three movies and we are only 60 percent done. I have never seen an Indiana Jones film, so you don't have to be a fan to enjoy this game. You don't have to be a child either! My boyfriend is 25 and I am 22. I am generally a puzzle game fan and my boyfriend loves shooters like CoD4 and Battlefield Bad Company. If you like any kind of game, pick this up. It is very enjoyable!!
