The perfect toy! December 28, 2007 Hilary P (Scarsdale, NY United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My friend had always raved about her son's magna tiles, but they seemed kind of pricey to me and I figured my kids could play with lego's or blocks, which are much less expensive. For Hannukah this year, I decided to buy my three kids (4 1/2 year old girl and twin 2 1/2 year old boys) a set of 100 magnatiles. I was concerned that the boys wouldn't understand how to stack them up, but I was totally wrong. I got home from work last night and my nanny and three kids were building a huge tower with the magna tiles. My nanny told me that they had played ALL DAY LONG with the magna tiles and that the kids built all sorts of things with them. I was thrilled! They were totally worth the money - just to see my three kids sitting there all working together to build something. I highly recommend the 100 piece set. 32 pieces just isn't enough. In fact, I think we need more than 100 pieces because each of my kids wanted to build a huge Empire State Building tower! For those of you who are scared about the price tag, I assure you it is worth the money. I store them in a clear plastic container so they are easy to clean up and store. At approximately $1 per piece, I also don't want to lose the pieces!!!!

Great Toy May 20, 2008 R. Richey (Midwest) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought these for my son for Christmas and he loves them. His little brother who is 1.5 years has tarted to love them as well. We have had kids of all ages over to the house and this is the toy of preferrence regardless the age, well up to 12 anyway. I have to tell you that they are fun to use with your children as well, I get a kick out of using them as well.
Well worth the money May 27, 2008 One of the Seven Ks (Springfield, OH, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Yes, Magna tiles are pricey but well worth it. We have three boys ages 5, 4, and 1. They all love playing with the magna tiles and build some pretty amazing structures. We purchased one set of 100 for Christmas and then realized we really needed another set. With two sets, there are plenty to go around and everyone has fun building. I would recommend the clear ones. Kids like to build houses and barns they can put their animals and cars into and still see them. I am also an elementary principal and we bought several sets for indoor recess and for our latchkey program and they are used on a daily basis and have been for about 6 months. They are holding up great and again, the kids love them. I see kids from age 5 - 11 playing with them at school. At home, my husband and I enjoy them as much as the kids.
We've loved magnatiles for years! November 16, 2006 M. Wada (Ann Arbor, MI USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son has been playing with magnatiles since he was a toddler. He's 8 years old and still enjoys them. There are no small pieces which is great for very young kids and the magnets are strong enough to support pretty elaborate structures. The pieces lie flat for very easy storage. It's simply a great toy.
