Wow, really nice, really fun!!! December 28, 2007 Nacho 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This was the one item my youngest son (6 years old) wanted for Christmas. He kept talking and talking about it. I could not find it anywhere at first. Walmart listed it for seventy but it was not available online from their site. I went to four different stores and while all the toy sections were aware of the product and claimed they had carried it, all were out of stock. I finally found it online through an Amazon.com reseller, but it was just over one hundred and with expediated shipping at over 30 dollars, well you do the math. It's not worth that much. Try to find it for 70 or less if possible, but honestly everywhere I did find it was roughly a hundred. Anyway, the toy itself is great fun. It's basically a remote control car with a spy camera on it that you can use to view anything it's pointed at and you view using spy glasses. The image is black and white and pretty good quality. It's equivalent to any remote video spycam you see shown on tv like from atm's or other spycams. The car is also very quite. I've heard reviewers write it's loud. Ours is not at all. It's not completely silent. If you are sitting in a room reading a book you will hear it come in, but if there is any noise in the room at all, a conversation going on, the tv on, or a radio at normal levels, the car can sneak in unnoticed so beware those of you in the shower, lock the doors. The kids have great fun trying to sneak in on parents activities. I found myself typing on the computer several times only to see this thing watching me and hear my kids in the other room laughing. It's great fun to pick it up or crouch down in front of the lens and make silly faces........you'll hear large laughter from the other rooms. Enjoy. Our spycar was not well shipped, and the spy glasses arrived with the plastic around the viewing lens of the spy glasses cracked in a triangle shape and that plastic piece actually fell off, but we taped it back in place. Only a slight astetic peice of plastic that broke, it did not affect the function of the glasses at all. The glasses plug into the remote and the car and remote use 4 or 6 double A's each for a total of about 10 or 12 batteries. I can't remember exactly how many, but basically alot of batteries. It's been running 4 days non stop now and not showing any signs of slowing down, so maybe the extra batteries are a good thing, so you don't have to switch them out as often. This is a great toy as a gift, but search for the lowest available price out there as it appears to have been increased in price for the holidays since i've seen it listed for about thirty dollars less.
Fun toy 11 yr old loves it December 27, 2007 Sherry K. (Williamstown, New Jersey United States) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
We bought this for my 11 yr old for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He is very much into spying and he has already gotten a lot of use out of this car. He will sit in one room in the house and roam the rest with the car. It's funny, and we have to laugh....he will enter a room and you can tell when he is watching you because the car will get into a position and just sit there and look at you. I'll be in bed at night and hear the car roaming my room just looking around. Definately a very fun toy.
WOW!!! Its a BLAST!!! I LOVE it!!! December 15, 2007 Thomas Hawes (TX, USA) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I received 1 of these as a early Christmas gift and I am grinning from end to end! Its a BLAST!!! This car is incredible! I am blown away by the technology behind it. It works GREAT!!! It is a TON of FUN!!! Their are so many cool and fun things you can do with it, one of the things we did was play a high tech game of hide and seek IN THE DARK!!! 1 person would hide somewhere in the house, then we would turn off ALL the LIGHTS in the HOUSE, then using the night vision feature which works GREAT, the other person without moving from their location uses the car to find the other player, in the DARK of course, then they switch off. It is a BLAST!!! We also took the car outside into a forested area, and used the cars night vision to watch the wild animals in the dark. The car is also great fun to drive the dog crazy!!! Anyone that gets one of these is going to LOVE it!!! I know I do!!!

This remote controlled car has been a big hit with my son. He loves driving it with the camera in other rooms. Makes me a little crossed eyed when I tried it but it is easy for him to use and he has lots of fun with it.
Save your money February 13, 2008 E. Crawford (Rogersville, TN USA) 4 out of 7 found this review helpful
My son received this for Christmas. The first car would not even move or shoe that it even had power. The replacement that was sent was without the night vision (which was on the first car). but it did moved in about 1/2" jerks. Never smooth and the eye peice was nothing but "white". I gave up and requested a refund. My son has been terribly disappointed. I called Wild Planet for 2 weeks before I received a response 1 week after my last call. All the tech reviews of this product were positive. I guess I just got a "lemon" evidently 2 of them.
